3 Columns publishing template

Use when

  • You want to display a list of dates in ascending order from earliest to latest.
  • You want events notes to display.

Tip With the 3 Columns template, you have the option of displaying or hiding events on the published calendar.

  • You're publishing a list of events where you want to emphasize the events' names and descriptions.

Don't use when

  • You want to group events that have something, like a location, in common.
  • You want to display events in descending order from latest to earliest.

Description Events are displayed in table format. Each event is a row in the table. You can choose how many events to display per page (for example: a specific number of events; a year's worth; a month's worth).

Example The Trumba University demo site publishes its athletics schedule in 3 Columns format.

Points to notice about the example:

  • Event details, including notes, time, and location, are available at a glance.

Tip You can choose not to display the notes and you can control the maximum length of the notes field.

  • You can choose how far into the future to display events, such as a year's worth of events per page.
