Private events

Mark an event as private if you don't want it to show up on your Trumba® calendar when you distribute the calendar to other people.

A private event looks like this when you're looking at your own calendar:

The lock symbol beside the doctor's appointment indicates that you've marked that event as private. (The lock symbol doesn't appear next to event descriptions in Multi-Week or Month view.)

To people with whom you share your calendar, the time of the event looks free:

In addition, private events won't appear at all in calendar email messages or published calendars.

To mark an event as private

  1. Click Add Event above your calendar if you're creating a new event. Or, click an event title if you're modifying an existing event.
  2. In the Event Information form, under Description, select the Private check box.

  3. Click OK.
