Tip The calendar publisher controls which events are published and how long it takes them to appear. How to delete an event you submittedIf you submit an event that is subsequently cancelled or changed, you can delete the event. To delete the event, you must be able to open the email message you received when you originally submitted the event.
Event information options explainedTo learn more about an event information option, click its name. If the calendar publisher created custom event fields, you may see options in the form that aren't described here. Event titleType a description of the event you want to submit. You must type a description to submit an event. CategoryIf you see a Category list in the form, choose the category in which your event belongs. If the Category list exists, you must choose a category to submit an event. LocationType the address or other location information for the event. Start dateSelect a start date for the event. For most events, duration is best but if you're creating an event that lasts more than one day, you may want to specify start and end dates and times. To create an open-ended event with no specific end time, click Specify End, and then set the end time to match the start time. RepeatTo create an event that recurs on a regular or irregular basis, for Repeat, choose Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Annually. To set up an event that:
Web linkTo provide a link to a Web site that contains additional information about your event, type the URL here (for example, http://www.google.com). The link appears in the event details that visitors to the website calendar see when they click the event title on the calendar. NotesType additional information about the event here. Notes appear either on the website calendar itself or in the event details that vistors to the calendar see when they click the event title. Tip You can use HTML code to add formatting to the event notes. For example, you can make certain words bold or add a horizontal rule or ordered or unordered list. |
