Change settings associated with your calendars or accountIn Trumba® Connect you control your account information and the display and behavior of calendars through two types of settings, account settings and calendar settings. For example, calendar settings is where you go to change a calendar's name or select the event types that are available for calendar editors. Account settings is where you go to change the email address, name, and other properties associated with your account. Account settings also includes a security option. Personal account information that you submit to Trumba Connect is always protected by the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. When you select the All Web pages option in the Account Settings form, the SSL protocol also protects all of your calendar data. Information about each account and calendar setting is available in the form where you choose the settings.
For example, as this portion from the calendar settings form shows, you can look to the far right to see a brief description of an option. Or, you can click the Help button Some options, such as time zones, appear in both account and calendar settings.
Account settingsYou choose account settings when you first sign up for your account. We use the information you provide in account settings to customize your Trumba experience, display your calendar and events, and deliver account-related email messages or calendar updates and event invitations from other Trumba Connect account holders. Note For more details about how we use the information you provide, click Privacy Policy at the bottom of any calendar page.
Calendar settingsYou choose calendar settings when you first create a new calendar. Settings for a calendar determine its name, its relationship to other calendars, event types that are available for people entering events, the time zone, and the day of the week and hour with which the calendar starts and ends. You can also share, publish, or email a calendar from within the calendar settings form. If you already published your calendar, the optional Web Name setting will have a name in it that you can't change. For more information about a calendar's Web name, see Find a calendar's web name.
