The Department of Aging, Sheriff’s Department’s TRIAD program, Emergency Management and other partnering departments have teamed together to sponsor the 3rd annual Picnic with a Purpose — an effort to learn more about emergency preparedness efforts while having outdoor fun and enjoying good food and great friends.
Emergencies and the disruptions they cause may come in many levels of intensity. Emergency situations may include a sudden illness or accident that disrupts normal living, an interruption of essential services including electricity, water, or sewer due to weather disasters, or may involve home evacuation due to floods, fires, hazardous materials incidents, tornadoes and more.

Arthur and Guinevere
By, Steven Fogell
Produced by special arrangement with Eldridge Publishing Co.
The magic of Merlin can't last forever, but with the help of the fairy Nimue, Merlin is soon transported back in time to remember the young boy Arthur, who was scared to become a knight; the young girl Guinevere, who was bored as a royal princess; and the young peasant girl Elyzabel, who dreamed of life in the King's castle. These three meet in the enchanted forest and their fates are suddenly changed by the evil magic of Mordrid and his twin sister Morgana. In this charming tale you soon find out what happens when you get the wish you wish for and how it may not always bring the happiest of results. An enchanted owl and an evil raven are included on this journey of time and love. This delightful tale is full of Arthurian legend and magic, guaranteed to bring enchantment to all.

Join us for a Weekly Bible Study/Potluck!
Join us for our weekly Bible study/potluck. Beginning in August in Green Bay, WI. Study the word of God, share your testimony, get your grub on and make new friends.
Obviously this isn't a "party" but we just want to gather a team of believers in a comfortable setting to help us with the following:
We know that there seems to be a "New Church" starting up every day, many of which are starting due to a disagreement or split off from a larger church. We have have felt led by God to launch New Vision (Interdenominational Worship Center). This is not a church formed due to a falling out back at home, but a church born out of the urging of God to do away with the confusion, dogma, separation and disunity sewn by many of our Christian churches today.
Our goal is to always teach the truth in love. This means we will never turn anyone away, but we cannot stand any longer for churches to allow the world to infiltrate them when it should be the other way around. We understand the sinful nature of man and…

N.E.W. FIRST Robotics Demonstration Day at East Town Mall
Come to the East Town Mall and see FIRST Robotics Robots in action!
Gnome Games is sponsoring the N.E.W Robotics Teams Demonstration Day from 11 - 3 on Saturday August 21st 2010.
Come see the 2010 Competition Robots in action. Meet the High School Students that designed and created them. Learn about the FIRST Robotics (FRC) program!
“The varsity sport for the mind,” FRC combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. Under strict rules, limited resources, and time limits, teams of 25 students or more are challenged to raise funds, design a team “brand,” hone teamwork skills, and build and program robots to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. It’s as close to “real-world engineering” as a student can get. Volunteer professional mentors lend their time and talents to guide each team.
Students get to:
Learn from professional engineers
Build and compete with a robot of their own design
Learn and use sophisticated software and hardware…
