Hitchcock for Halloween

Halloween/autumn events Pocono Mountain Public Library invites you to join us for a special Classic Movie Book Drive at the Casino Theatre in Mount Pocono for Hitchcock for Halloween. Come and see a thrilling Hitchcock movie on the big screen for a cool Halloween date and help the library at the same time! Our suspenseful Halloween movie takes place in Greenwich Village during the dog days of summer. Jeff (James Stewart) broke his leg and is confined to a wheelchair. He passes the time peeking in windows and watching his neighbors for hours on end with his binoculars & photo lenses. One night, Jeff hears a blood curdling scream and believes that he’s witnessed a murder. Can he convince his socialite girlfriend, Lisa (Grace Kelly), or his friend from the police force, Tom (Wendell Corey) that a murder has taken place? Is Jeff just imaging things because he’s bored? Will anybody believe his story? What do we really know about our neighbors? Hitchcock will have you on the edge of your seat until the very end! Don’t forget to come early… Region: *Poconos.
