Kids' Activities
Camp Speers-Eljabar is now accepting registration forms for the School Age Children Child Care program, for kindergarteners through fifth graders attending the Digman or Delaware Schools.
Before school session begin at 7 a.m. until the start of the school day. The after school session is offered from the time of school dismissal through 6 p.m. The program operates each day that school is open and is located at the Dingman-Delaware Primary School.
Parents may enroll their children in the before school, after school, or both for a minimum of two day per week.

Staples in National Back-to-School Supply Drive
Fundraisers
Staples and American Idol winner, Joran Sparks, has teamed up with teen empowering organization Do Something 101 to ask Stroudsburg teens to make a difference. Residents can donate their back-to-school supplies or donations to help those in need. Now through August 31, teens can drop off their donations at the Staples in Stroudsburg.
All school supplies and donations will be given locally to the Tobyhanna Army Depot Boys and Girls Club, an educational non-profit organization that serves disadvantaged youth.

Women's Resources of Monroe County seeks volunteers for 2008 and 2009. Those who are interested will be volunteering their efforts as hotline counselors, providing help and support to those who are survivors of domestic and sexual assult.
Counselors are needed for the 24 hour crisis hotline from 5 p.m. through 9 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. No previous experience is required, only the desire to help others.
