Jackie Greene continues his impressive trajectory as a front man and guitarist for Phil Lesh & Friends and a solo artist with an increasingly vital body of work with his April studio release, Giving Up The Ghost. The twelve-song collection is his strongest work to date and should serve as ample notice that the guitarist, organist, harp player and singer-songwriter has cemented his own identity onto the modern music scene. The release with his solid core group also features numerous excellent collaborations, including Los Lobos musician and two-time Greene producer Steve Berlin, his Lobos band mate David Hidalgo, Elvis Costello drummer Pete Thomas, Phil Lesh & Friends multi-instrumentalist Larry Campbell, guitarist and Skinny Singer (along with Greene) Tim Bluhm, Los Lobos drummer Cougar Estrada and his occasional boss, Phil Lesh.

$20 Day of Show
The hard-rocking Irish band, the Young Dubliners owe everything to their fans. "They keep us honest, expecting good music both on the road and on the albums," mentions frontman Keith Roberts.
The inspiration for Real World, the group's third record on Higher Octave, is drawn from the trials and tribulations of being a real, working band and their life on the road. "We are all aware of how lucky we are to be making a living by doing what we love. Without being on the road and playing to our fans, that just wouldn't be possible," Roberts explains.
Building a fervent fan base comparable to that of jam band rockers like Phish and Dave Matthews Band, The Young Dubliners have become notorious for the whirling "jig pits" that erupt at their live shows. Musing about the band's sound, Roberts sums up the Young Dubliner's approach to their music, be it Celtic, Irish, or just plain rock. "I l…

About Ariel Mura
Ariel Mura is a self titled acoustic duo with guitarist Danton Moorhead, former lead man of the rock group Green Door Club. Both artists come from the small town of Milestonelocated in southern Saskatchewan.
Ariel Mura’s sound is formed straight from an acoustic guitar and a leather bound book. Ariel’s poetry transformed into melody at a very young age. After only playing five live shows Ariel Mura was awarded the maximum eligible grant from the Saskatchewan Arts Board to record her debut album.
Danton's past experiences with producers Jim Purdy and Dino Pastin at the Platinum Labs Recording Studio in Nashville, TN, gave him the motivation and knowledge to produce Ariel Mura's debut twelve song album named "Uneven Flight". The album was engineered by award winning Johnny Gasparic who studied under Kevin Cherko, engineer of legendary producer "Mutt Lange” The album will be released in late spring 2008.
Currently Ariel Mura is focused on planning for ext…
