Idaho Museum of Natural History
A local stream ecologist will lead us up City Creek, exploring its riparian ecosystem. Collect some of the macroinvertebrates (insects) that live in the stream to analyze the health of this popular stream. Learn more about what we can do to improve the stream’s water quality.
RiverWalks are monthly, family-oriented field excursions, each focusing on a different natural history topic. Tango is a social dance filled with passion – and fun! Grab a partner and come learn the steps to this sensual dance. You’ll easily recognize Tango’s distinctive music from TV commercials for everything from office supplies to real estate. Tango is a traveling dance - that is, one where
the dancers cover ground on the dance floor. All the steps are beginning or “bronze” level steps. Examples of the steps/figures covered by the course the basic figure and three variations, link steps, la puerta, corté media corté at least five basic variations of promenade, progressive rock steps, turning rock steps, roll out to explosion with several continuations, and more. Tango
Tango is a social dance filled with passion – and fun! Grab a partner and come learn the steps to this sensual dance. You’ll easily recognize Tango’s distinctive music from TV commercials for everything from office supplies to real estate. Tango is a traveling dance - that is, one where
the dancers cover ground on the dance floor. All the steps are beginning or “bronze” level steps. Examples of the steps/figures covered by the course the basic figure and three variations, link steps, la puerta, corté media corté at least five basic variations of promenade, progressive rock steps, turning rock steps, roll out to explosion with several continuations, and more. Tango is an excellent dance for beginners!

Learn how to fully utilize your digital camera in this four week course. Focusing on basic techniques, this course will familiarize you with your camera and help you expand your skills. Topics include menu, playback, flash control, focus control, modes, zoom, display, quality settings, color settings, light meters, storing images, shutter speeds and f-stops. Learn how to get that perfect digital shot every time!
Instructor Richard Albright has been teaching community based photography classes for 18 years. He studied with the Ruth Bernhard, Paul Caponigro and did undergraduate and graduate photography work at Utah State University. He has been an adjunct professor at ISU Mass Com, teaching introduction to photography. Beginning Digital Photography Class
BEGINNING DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Learn how to fully utilize your digital camera in this four week course. Focusing on basic techniques, this course will familiarize you with your camera and help you expand your skills. Topics include menu, playback, flash control, focus control, modes, zoom, display, quality settings, color settings, light meters, storing images, shutter speeds and f-stops. Learn how to get that perfect digital shot every time!
Instructor Richard Albright has been teaching community based photography classes for 18 years. He studied with the Ruth Bernhard, Paul Caponigro and did undergraduate and graduate photography work at Utah State University. He has been an adjunct professor at ISU Mass Com, teaching introduction to photography. His experience in commercial labs, the photographic arts and technical aspects of digital cameras gives Richard a unique perspective into the ever changing world of digital photography.

Waltz
Waltz, or ‘slow waltz,’ is the quintessential ballroom dance. Done to 3/4-time music, waltz embodies grace and elegance. Learn the basics and you’ll be dancing in no time! Whether you’re looking for fun, want to sparkle on your wedding day or shine on a cruise, waltz is the dance for
you. Like the tango, Waltz is a traveling dance, involving considerable movement on the dance floor. All the steps are beginning or “bronze” level steps. Examples of the steps/figures covered by the course include the box, turning box, six-count underarm turn, progressive walks, senior
