1st annual Cascade-Warm Lake 3 Summit Challenge on July 31, 2010.

Sports & Outdoors The Community of Cascade will host the 1st annual Cascade-Warm Lake 3 Summit Challenge on July 31, 2010. Bicycle rides of 35, 55 or 65 miles will offer participants some of the most spectacular scenery in Idaho. This challenging, fully supported ride will consist of 3 mileage options covering 1, 2 or 3 mountain summits, respectively. The 35 mile, option 1 ride will take riders from Cascade to the top of Big Creek Summit on Warm Lake Road and back to Cascade. The 55 mile, option 2 ride will continue on to Warm Lake before returning by the same route. The 3 Summit, option 3 ride will take riders to the top of Warm Lake Summit and back to Cascade. Riders completing all 3 summits will have climbed a total of 6500 feet in elevation! A kid’s fun ride will also take place within the Community of Cascade. Olympic Gold Medalist Kristin Armstrong will lead this ride and be available throughout for encouragement and autographs.
