Website Calendar Software

Make Events Easier to Find

With every Trumba calendar that you publish, you create a group of customizable Control spuds. Control spuds are JavaScript™ calls that you embed into the same page on your website that contains the Calendar spud. These spuds interact with your calendar to change its state.

For example, you can embed a Search spud that allows site visitors to do full text searches of events. Or, you can embed a Calendar List spud that lets site visitors filter events by category.

The What To Do page on the Pocono Record website demonstrates how Control spuds placed near an embedded Calendar spud increase the likelihood that site visitors will locate events they care about.

1

Filter spuds Choose an event category, an event type, or both to filter calendar events.

2

Calendar view spud Choose among six different ways of viewing events. The default view is a Table presentation. Other choices include Classic Week view and a Detail List view by date that provides detailed information about each event.

3

Search spud Type a word or words that describe the events that you want to see, and then click Go.

4

Date picker spud Hover over a date to see a list of events on that date. Click a date to navigate to it in the calendar.
